We have been asked a few times who and what is TFC Events, so here is a small history and information on the committee.

TFC Events is a non-profit making group.  The events we run are run purely for the enjoyment of the people attending.   If we do make a profit, it is either put back into the events or is given to charity.   We will often raise funds for specific charities, and in our short existence have given to Comic Relief, Children in Need, the Tsunami disaster among others.

TFC grew out of  the Scottish based part of the Sector 14 committee which ran Homecoming, Eclipse, North and South and various other things in 2002.     After a very busy 2002 it was decided that with Sector 14 taking a small break, the Scottish based committee would carry on, and thus in January 2003 TFC was born.

We continued to run a monthly meeting in the Iron Horse, though the name was changed from Nosfera2 to Watchers' Conclave to avoid confusion with the Sector 14 Nos Nights at Pages Bar in London.      The first Watchers' Conclave took place in February 2003.

2003 It was decided that  we should run a weekend event.   Nothing too large, but a fun event for people to just party.  This idea originally came from the Friday evening of North, when our guests had been delayed in their return from the US where they were filming an episode of Buffy.     The disco on the Friday was a huge success even without the guests and so PartyCon was born.

2004 With the Watchers' Conclave going strong PartyCon:Reanimated was run at the end of September.

2005  The Watchers’ Conclave completed another successful year  and in October  PartyCon:X proved to be a great success raising money for Children First.    The sad news at this event was that Cameron and Doc decided to call it a day as committee.    However not being committee doesn't mean they will not still be around.  It just means that they don't have the responsibility of being around and they can just have fun with everyone else, and of course help out where they can..

2006  With the committee down to one, a revamp was needed and the Watchers Conclave, now becomes simply the Watchers, ( it's what everyone called it anyway)  The meetings now start at 6pm instead of 4pm, but a full year is organised and the dates can be found on the Watchers page.

The committee

In the beginning the committee was made up of Cameron, Doc, Harminder and Elaine.    In March 2005 Harminder decided to call it a day, as he just doesn’t have the time to devote to the group.   In November Doc and Cameron left the committee and then there was one, or as has been said in the end there can be only one.
